Trustee Treasurer

Citizens Advice South Warwickshire is a local charity which helps thousands of people each year by providing free, independent and confidential advice on a variety of issues, for example, benefits, housing, employment and many more. 

We give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find a way forward – whoever they are and whatever their problem.

We are looking to recruit a new Trustee who shares the same passion to serve our community as we do. This is a voluntary role and the Trustee will work with the Board and Senior Management Team to ensure we continue to deliver great service – even in the current challenging environment where we have continued to operate for the benefit of our clients.

Our new Trustee Treasurer, will, in addition to general Trustee duties, be responsible for the overall financial governance of CASW.  They should have the following skills:

Financial Management
Ability to think strategically
Operating at Board or Senior Management level
Good communication Skills
Team Player
IT literacy

 You will be expected to attend 8 meetings per annum, including the AGM and also  to attend and chair the Finance Sub-Committee; as well as provide financial advice and guidance to the Board and Senior Management Team.

In return you will be able to share your experience in driving forward a progressive charity and make a real contribution to your community (about which you will certainly become much more aware).
